Marianists celebrate the feast days of two Founders of the Marianist Family each January.
January 10 - Blessed Marie of the Conception (Adèle de Batz de Trenquelléon)

Adèle was born on June 10, 1789, and was 39 when she died in 1828. She was beatified on her birthday in 2018.

“O God, source of all holiness, we thank you for filling the heart of your servant Adèle with an ardent missionary spirit and a deep love for the Blessed Virgin Mary. We thank you for the enthusiasm with which she spread the Gospel of love for Christ and his mother, Mary. Lord, help us to follow her in being a sign of your love for all our brothers and sisters.”

January 22 - Blessed William Joseph Chaminade

Fr. Chaminade was born on April 8, 1761, and was 88 when he died in 1850. He was beatified on September 3, 2000.

“O Lord, you gave Blessed William Joseph the grace to dedicate himself totally to the Virgin Mother of God, in order to transmit faith in the world; grant that, following his example, we may bear witness to Christ by the holiness of our lives. He lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. - Amen."
