Our year-long New Employee Orientation Program provides new employees of the Marianist Province and Marianist-adjacent ministries with an understanding of the Marianist Charism and an increased capacity for engagement with the Marianist Family. Participants meet monthly with NACMS staff to discuss readings and concepts of significant Marianist topics, such as the Marianist Founders, the Marianist Charism, the Marianist System of Virtues and Prayer, Marianist Social Justice, and more. This program is adapted for each cohort to meet the context and formation level of each participant. It can also be accelerated into a six-month program that would include bi-weekly, rather than monthly, meetings.

Shelly Kramer (administrative assistant for the American Marianist Universities (AMU)) and Tina Weber (administrative assistant in the Office of the Provincial and the Assistant Provincial) are currently participating together in a cohort that began in January 2024. In August 2024, Melissa Barreca (marketing coordinator for the Society of Mary's US Province), Dede Barth (coordinator at the Office of Sponsorship for the Society of Mary's US Province), Terry Eversole (administrative assistant for the Office of Religious Life for the Society of Mary's US Province), and Cynthia Sanford (administrative assistant for the University of Dayton’s International Marian Research Institute) began their year long formation experience.
