In late April, our first year of the Marianist Specialist-in-Training program came to a close, as Bro. Charles Kimeu, SM, from the Region of Eastern Africa, returned to Nairobi. The Marianist Specialist-in-Training program calls upon Marianist religious from around the world to engage in research focused on Marianist history, spirituality, and mission with the support of NACMS staff, local Marianists, and the University of Dayton faculty.

Specialists observe NACMS programming strategies, conduct guided research, and examine how their lived experiences influence their own spirituality. We thank Bro. Charles for spending the last nine months with us, and we wish him well in his future endeavors.

We are excited to welcome three new participants to the Marianist Specialist-in-Training program in August.
